How to convert cold leads into sales
The most important thing to know about converting cold leads into sales is that it doesn't happen.
Whew, what a relief. Now you can get on to doing effective work.
What I mean is, it doesn't work right away. At least for most businesses 99% of the time. It takes time. There's a process. You just have to define a process cold leads go through to get to a sale.
How do you do it?
1. Attract potential leads
You have to be able to have a compelling enough headline, offering, promotion, image, video, WHATEVER, that gets someone's attention. What are the people you're selling to desiring? What do they need? How do they feel right now?
2. Give them something to act on.
It's a lot easier to want to click on something when you know it's not going to cost you. So, use "FREE" as your action point.
Someone gets something for free. That's great. You can collect an email address in return, retarget them later, or get them to engage in some way. This is a win.
3. Present an offer.
If someone's acted on what you're offering for free, you get permission to present an offer. And this works even better if you repeat step 2 a few times before you get to step 3.
