3 Reasons Why You're Losing Customers Online
If you have an online presence, whether with a website, social media platform, or both, then customer engagement is incredibly important. However, if your customers are not engaging or not enough action is taken online, then you may be losing customers.
There are several reasons why this may be the case. Here are three of them:
Lack of Valuable Content.
Do you have content that users can engage with? When you give users content, they are more likely to interact with your brand. Content can be written or visual, such as having blog posts on the website or putting a video for them to watch. There is a reason why content is considered “King.” It is because content is most likely to get the most action from customers, whether that means interaction or outright buying a product or service.
Not Telling the Story of Your Brand.
Have you clearly defined the story of your brand? Furthermore, is your brand a reflection of customers. If you haven’t told the story of your brand, or if it does not coincide with customer needs or goals, then customers will simply not engage. To this end, there is a difference between selling to a customers, which does not often get results, and showcasing how your brand benefits them. The latter excites and encourages your customers in engaging with your brand and ultimately seeking after products or services.
Lack of an Access Point.
Is it readily clear how a user can interact with your business? You need to create substantial access points for potential and current customers. For example, does your website have signup forms that your customers can get a quote from? Have you given thought to how your customers can find information related to a product or service?
Allow your customers an access point to find what they are looking for and interact with your brand.
