3 Reasons Why You Should Be Using Google Analytics

Do you have a website for your services or products?  While it’s great to have a web presence in and of itself, it is equally imperative that you have Google Analytics.  This is a tool that lets you track the ROI (return on investments) associated with your website, as well as video, flash, and social networking affiliations that are linked to your website.

Here’s 3 reasons why you should be using Google Analytics.

You Can Tell Who Your Customers Are.

While you may have an idea of who your customers are, Google Analytics will give you the specifics, and allow you to further confirm your customer demographic.  For instance, are your customers younger or older?  Are they local to your area, or they coming in from somewhere else?

Knowing who your customers are will better help you meet your goal of then selling to them.

You Can Tell Where Your Customers Are Coming From.

In addition, it is also important to see where exactly your customers are coming from. Are they coming from an organic search, or they directed to you in some way?  In an organic search, your customer would have looked for a specific keyword on Google, or another search engine, and then found your website from this listing.  This is great because it means your Google ranking is up.

However, your customers may also be coming to you because of another source, such as a social media post, a blog post on another website, etc.

You Can Tell What Your Customers Are Doing.

What are your customers doing when they get onto your site?  What specific pages are they looking at?  Google analytics can give you this information, telling you what specific pages, videos, and so forth that your customers are interacting with.

All this information is extremely important for you to have because it allows you to better optimize your website.  Need a new website?  Want to increase SEO?  Contact us today!
